2017 has Coach Chatman as excited as ever, with his Tustin High School Varsity Team coming off the 2nd Consecutive 2nd place finish last year in the extremely difficult Empire League and 3rd straight 1st round CIF loss this 5th Year. Skipper is excited to take the next step in guiding Tustin High School to its 1st ever Empire League title to the elusive 2nd Round of the CIF playoffs!
 As well as being the Head Coach at Tustin HS, Coach Chatman has directed his attention to developing young ball players in the greater Tustin area to better prepare them for High School baseball... through his role as director of the So Cal Youth Baseball Academy & the Fighting Farmers. Chatman has spent the past 16 years coaching in some capacity throughout Orange County, helping hundreds of players throughout the county achieve their goals of participation in High School, College & Professional Baseball Programs... Among his many accolades Coach Chatman was instrumental in the creation of Team Anderson and the A-Game Academy.
Coaching baseball has taken Coach Chatman all over the country and abroad; from Steamboat Springs, CO to Orlando, FL to Cooperstown, NY to Nettuno, Italy to Hermosillo, Mexico... from 1 Year varsity players to MLB All Stars, When it comes to developing talent Coach Chatman has seen and done it all... using his experience as a former HS, Colligate and Professional Baseball player to developing young people who have aspirations of reaching their potential and playing the game of baseball as long as their ability will allow them!

Coach Ben has been coaching youth baseball in Orange County for seven years. Coach Ben is in his third year at SCYB coaching our younger age groups 9u-12u. He was a four year Varsity letterman in baseball at Nothwood HS. After playing two years of college baseball he decided coaching was his calling. Coach Ben graduated college in 2012 from Concordia University Irvine with a degree in Sports Management.
Coach Ben started his coaching career at northwood as an assistant on varsity for four years. After that he  joined the staff at Tustin HS where he has been the last three years.

Coach Randy got his coaching career started at Valley Christian HS as the varsity pitching coach. After one year Coach Randy moved up to Fullerton College where he served as their Pitching Coach from the fall of 2009 till the spring of 2013. In that time Coach Randy coached several JC All american pitchers, including the state pitcher of the year in 2013. After winning the conference and making it all way to the state finals. Coach Randy moved on to Tustin HS for the 2014 season. While at Tustin HS he served as the catching and infield coach. After the 2016 season he moved over to Santa Ana College where he is currently serving as the catching coach. With SCYB he is currently coaching the older groups 13u-14u teams and serving as the Pitching and Catching Coach.
